The example above is a demo!
- YOU define the information, you need in your VMS app.
- YOU decide, how the information has to be arranged.
- YOU define the the roles (e.g. reader, editor, manager, admin) and privileges, you need for your organization.
- YOU define the workflow (email notification, status change, follow up actions) you want to have.
- YOU define the reports and documents you want to create.
Some technical information
- VMS apps are webbased and run in every browser.
- VMS apps will be installed on a Microsoft SQL Server and a Tomcat Webserver.
The Microsoft SQL server is license free for databases with less than 10 GB space (MS SQL server express version).
If you want to store more than 10 GB, you need a SQL Server Standard license.
If you have already an MS SQL server in your organization, it can be used for one (or more) VMS apps. - VMS webapps can be used in the intranet/extranet/internet.
