35 years in software development..

DataConsult Informatik was founded in 1990 by Ralf Alles.

In first years, Ralf developed as freelancer business applications for bigger companies (e.g. VDE Prüf- und Zertifizierungsinstitut).
Even then, he implemented billing systems for critical business processes.

Within the next years he established a network of technical specialists to fulfill larger projects.
Since then, we gained a lot of experiences about the requirements of larger companies and organizations.

Starting from the end of the 90th, the company grew and requires the first permanent employee (who is still working for the company).

2003 was an important year for the company.
We won a public tender from the Thüringer Kultusministerium to develop a web-based workbench for programming software for public government.
This project was the base for our VMS system, we are using, to develop most of our individual solutions.

Through VMS we were enabled to win additional customers in other businesses (e.g. Research and development (R&D)).
Especially R&D departments having a great need to store lab data and serve special work processes. So, we developed a suite of applications for this area.

In 2008 we took over the complete maintenance and development for HR-Software for the public education in Thüringen.

Additionally, we were commissioned to develop an application to administrate and deploy the public founding’s for Kindergartens in Thüringen.
This application was programmed within 3 month and distribute public founding’s until yet.

This required new staff. The next generation of colleagues were onboarded.

In 2017 we also have taken over all licenses and customers of the Sartor GmbH.

In 2018 the company DataConsult-Informatik was converted into DataConsult-Informatik GmbH, so that our organization is fit for the future.
